About Me.

Williams Naranjo, born in Caracas, Venezuela, is a producer and editor with extensive on-set and post-production experience and a deep passion for storytelling. Holding a bachelor’s degree in Film & TV Production from New York University, Williams excels in crafting compelling narratives across trailers, promos, and short-form content, ensuring clarity and impact for diverse audiences.

 

He focuses on both editorial and producing roles, developing forward-thinking stories that align with strategic brand objectives. Williams ideates, builds decks, and executes strategic pitches for high-profile marketing campaigns, including Hulu Has Movies, Huluween, Hulu Animayhem (Adult Animation and Anime), Hispanic Heritage Month, New on Hulu, D23, and more. He works collaboratively with directors, editors, AEs, designers, and motion graphics teams to create engaging campaign content.

 

Williams has directed over 20 short films, music videos, documentaries, and educational videos. Notable projects include music videos for David Guetta and Scala & Kolacny Brothers, both finalists in Genero.tv’s competition.

 

His short film, A New Civilization, was a Student Academy Award Finalist and won awards at the First Run Film Festival, with screenings at the Denver and Austin Film Festivals, as well as in New York and Los Angeles at the Directors Guild of America. He also received the Lancer Family Film Production Award for this work.

 

As a Director of Photography, Williams has worked on more than 10 short films and documentaries, including Sinking, which won the Emerging Filmmaker Award at Cannes, and Sardines, which was selected for the Queens World Film Festival.

 

Driven by a lifelong goal of blending moral values with societal themes through film, Williams Naranjo continues to build his legacy in the industry.
